Does anyone blog anymore?
I decided to open up my blog after a few years of not doing so. I have to say, it was quite entertaining to read some of my posts. I thought I would post again just to give it a try. I don't have anything creative to write tonight, I just want to say that I have the same amazing friends and family that I have written about in times past. I could ask a few to the list as well. Maybe if I think of something creative to write, I will give it another try. Right now, I just want to see if anyone blogs anymore!

8 months
Well, it's been 8 months and I haven't had a new post. I did contribute to another blog this summer called 31 flavors of summer so I haven't slacked off completely but for the most part, I have. I don't have a lot of creative ideas or fun or touching stories to share with the blogging world but I do have friends and family that do. I love all of your posts and pictures. I love having a small insight into your lives through the computer. I would much prefer a personal contact and to be a part of your fun stories but when I am unable, it's great to read about it. Keep up the great work peeps and when I get some fun things to share, I will be posting them.
I do want to mention that there were a lot of things that made me happy this week. One of them is that I got tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert with David Archuletta. I am pretty excited to go. My friends and I have gone for the last few years and it is enjoyable each time. Another thing that brought a little joy to my life this week is my friends. I have great friends. We are able to spend time together and just talk, laugh, and be who we are. I am very blessed for sure!

Henry B. and Freddie P.
Sorry for the long time in between posts. I don't always feel like I have a lot to share. I did want to share my obsession with the fact that Freddie Prince Jr. and Henry B. Eyering look so much alike though. I feel like Freddie could look at a picture of Henry B. Eyering and know what he is going to look like in 40 years. Both are very attractive men but Freddie probably isn't as good of a speaker as Henry is. Oh how I love to hear him speak!

Okay, so I have not updated my blog since the first of March. Lots has happened since then. I have enjoyed a good spring, summer, and fall. Some highlights include great friends, wonderful family (including a new neice and another nephew on the way), turning 30, a trip to London and Paris, and a job promotion. I really don't enjoy blogging about myself, hence the lack of motivation I have in updating my blog. I thought that I would update you all and let you know that my favorite holiday is coming up though. Yep, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so I'm going to let you all know what I am grateful for. Here you go, and just remember, the higher it is on the list, does not mean I am more grateful for that than something a little lower on the list.

5. Emily for making the waffles and cookies. . . and for being a cool roommate.
6. Kids, they sure do say the darndest things
7. My job. I get to learn a lot
8. The ability to learn. It really brings joy to my life.

11. Good books, there's nothing like reading a good book.
12. The beauty of the earth! You are so beautiful to me.
13. Temples
14. Smiles
15. Warm cozy clothes
16. Football games
17. Computers
18. Music

I have a lot to live up to.
Okay, I was tagged and I am excited to fill out this tag but I have a lot to live up to. I was tagged from my friend Joey. She is one awesome girl and was able to write down 20 random things, shortcomings, facts, habits, or goals about herself that were GREAT! Now I have to do the same about myself. Here we go...
1. I can suck a balloon inside out.
2. I am mildly allergic to a lot of things but it doesn't stop me from eating them or being around them. That is why I am the new sponsor for benadryl.
3. I am not addicted to benadryl and I don't even take it very much but I do look up to the inventor of that fine drug.
4. I have been told I look like sandra bullock...she must be generic looking because my friend Sarah has been told the same thing and she really does look like her...but prettier really.
5. My foot is a foot long....I get asked to measure things a lot.
6. I played the Oboe for 6 years and would like to get a nice one to play again.
7. I have always wondered why it is that the older I get, the more cautious/conservative I get.
8. I enjoy camping and hiking very much but i haven't been for a couple years.
9. I enjoy the geese that fly around my house and I hope they don't get scared off by my roommates dad who is going to shoot them.
10. I want to be a better golfer.
11. As I have grown up my patience for others and myself has increased in most aspects but in all other aspects it has depleted drastically.
12. I really like Yoga and exercising and feel the great benefits of it when I do it but I still struggle to do it as often as I should.
13. I enjoy laughing and hearing other people laugh.
14. I love my family differently now than I did even 10 years ago. I think one of the great purposes of life is to increase in your ability to love and that is where a lot of happiness comes from.
15. Out of squid and Cow tongue, I prefer squid.
16. The tulip is my favorite flower and the orange, yellow, and red simple ones are my favorite kind. I could care less about the purple and pink ones.
17. I feel like I "get" people and that's one of my talents
18. I love Jeans.
19. My three favorite "older" movies are 7 brides for 7 brothers, White Christmas, and Pillow Talk.
20. I don't think it was events or tasks needing to be accomplished that have brought me to where I am today but more the people I was supposed to meet and learn from.
Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a note with 20 random things, shortcomings, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end choose 20 people to be tagged and tell why you tagged them. You have to tag the person who tagged you.
I am going to follow the lead of my friend Joey and tag everyone who reads this. Let me know when you complete the 20 interesting items about you so I can read them too!

My Favorite Things
I know I have been a delinquent blogger and I would really like to apologize to those people who feel their lives have changed due to the fact I haven't blogged in three months. I know, it must have been tough. I hope this blog will make up for a little but hopefully I will be able to show more effort in the near future. About three months ago my friend, roommate, and partner in crime tagged me in her blog and requested I write about 5 of my favorite things. Here you go!!
This is my family. They are included in my list of favorite things. I love my family very much and wish I spent more time sharing more memories with them. We all have different lives but it's always nice to get together and talk about what is going on, play games, or laugh over old stories. I am excited for the holidays and some time off work so I can spend more time with my family. I love you guys.
I have been blessed with so many wonderful friends. (not all shown above. I couldn't find a good picture Beth and Wendy, we'll need to do something about that.) I don't know how I couldn't put all my friends on my favorites list. I depend on them all so much and they help me learn and grow. Really, my friends help keep me going and are definately major contributors to my happiness. I love you all.
Another top contender on my favorites list is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I hope my life has been formed around the teachings of the gospel and I know there is a lot more molding to take place. My favorite part is being able to know learning and changing is always possible.
Next on my list is laughter. I love when laughter is in the room. I don't enjoy when people are laughing at the expense of others but all other sources seem to be wonderful. As you all know, lots of things make me laugh. Keep it comming. I hope all of you find something to laugh about on a frequent basis and if you can't seem to find something, let me know. I can help you out.
The last item on my favorites list for today is Jim Halpert. Really, it's not this ficticious character specifically, although he has a great personality and stunning good looks, it is his representation of men in general. It has been said that men are portrayed on television as egotistical jerks who are unable to be productive, kind, or romantic. My example to contradict that is Jim Halpert. I personally would love to be pursued and cared for like Pam is by Jim. If any of you men out there would like to make my favorites list, please feel free to take lessons from Jim Halpert. :)
(This blog does not mention sleep, certain foods, my job, or autumn on my list of favorites but I sure do love them)!!!
